Improved rebate management and optimised claim settlement

ZEDACH is Germany’s largest network of roofers purchasing groups. With its vast range of products from more than 500 industry partners it serves approximately 7,000 member companies. Striving for further optimisations in purchasing volumes and conditions as well as standardisations in claim settlement processes with its suppliers, ZEDACH has recently implemented BONSAI, the innovative software for rebate management and claim settlement by IBB Adaptive Solutions from Vienna, Austria.

“ZEDACH group is continuously negotiating better purchase prices and conditions for our 7,000 members”, says Volkmar Sangl, board member of ZEDACH eG. Bernhard Scheithauer, who is also a board member of ZEDACH eG, adds: “Serving as an interface between more than 500 suppliers and our purchasing groups, we always need to know the optimal conditions. We were therefore looking for a comprehensive solution.” The roofers cooperative found the right solution with IBB Adaptive Solutions. “The multi-level structure and decentralised organisation of the individual units of ZEDACH group are particularly challenging with regard to rebate management and claim settlement. Based on our experience we can offer an integrated and efficient solution even for very complex structures with our solution BONSAI”, Christian Zeidler, Managing Director, IBB Adaptive Solutions GmbH, is convinced.

CONTINUOUSLY UP-TO-DATE AND TRANSPARENT PURCHASING CONDITIONS WITH BONSAI

BONSAI, the integrated software solution for the management of all types of purchasing conditions, is improving transparency with its capability of evaluating all relevant price reductions such as cash discounts, rebates or bonuses at any time. Rebate accruals such as rebate scales or bonuses on increases are automatically projected for the entire year on a continuously up-to-date basis.

“Strategic purchasing and supplier relationship management are among the key factors for the success of trading companies and cooperatives such as ZEDACH. And this is exactly the point at which our software has its focus”, says Zeidler. “Instead of having to deal with stand-alone solutions and confusing Excel sheets we now have all relevant data gathered within a single system and can work on that data with a multitude of useful features”, Sangl highlights the benefits. “We particularly value the calculation of the projected purchasing volume. The up-to-date numbers allow us to plan better, to precisely use purchasing conditions and to offer the best prices to our members.”
