BONSAI Partner Portal
The BONSAI Partner Portal enables secure and efficient data exchange between you and your suppliers.
Often generating and processing turnover reports is time-consuming and expensive for your suppliers due to different data formats, old Excel spreadsheets or manual input. This can also result in transmission errors or incorrect entries.
With the BONSAI Partner Portal, through which your supplier can intuitively and with little effort report the necessary turnover data, all media inconsistencies are avoided. From the information of the turnover report to be processed to the final dispatch after entering the data, the processing is done centrally in the BONSAI Partner Portal. Data security is guaranteed at all times.
This allows you to process all turnover reports for all suppliers using the BONSAI Partner Portal via a central platform and with just one login.
Since the launch of the BONSAI Partner Portal, over 10,000 turnover reports have already been submitted by suppliers.
BONSAI Features
Agreements based on qualitative metrics
In some cases, agreements are negotiated that do not simply depend on turnovers or quantities. Instead, the agreements depend on achieving certain goals.
Examples for that are:
- One product line should have a particularly high share (quota) of the total turnover.
- Employees are supposed to participate in trainings of the manufacturer, from 5 training participants on you get 1% bonus, from 10 participants on you get 2% on top.
- Products are to be presented on the sales floor or shown at a trade show.
- The intention is to achieve a certain average order level.
- Complex preconditions such as product line A must grow more than 20% compared to the previous year or product line B more than 30% and at least 100 units of product group X must be purchased or 50 units of product group Y.
For these cases, the concept of “qualitative metrics” has been implemented in BONSAI. This makes it possible to determine whether a certain goal has been achieved and the claim of the agreement can thus be validated. For stepped agreements, it is possible to specify how high the achieved target and thus the agreement value should be.
Deduction hierarchy
In some cases, agreements are negotiated so that the return from one agreement is intended to reduce the valuation basis of a subsequent agreement. For this case, the function of “deduction levels” was implemented in BONSAI. In the settlement, the deductions from the higher-level agreements are applied directly to the agreements in lower levels.
Overall simulation
With the BONSAI overall simulation, it is possible to go beyond the simulation of individual suppliers to evaluate the effect of changes in agreements or turnovers on the entire structure of agreements and all suppliers or members.
