Euronics Austria counts on IBB’s software solution BONSAI for its claim settlement

Euronics Austria reg. Genossenschaft m.b.H., headquartered in Biedermannsdorf, is Austria’s most important purchasing cooperative in the area of electrical retail and trade. It comprises 180 members of all sizes that are operating 210 owner-run specialist shops and stores. The cooperative is using IBB’s BONSAI for the automatic entry of turnovers as well as for the settlement and distribution of the best delivery terms and bonuses. As a result, it can offer its members an optimum solution to generate the best price-performance ratio. The major benefits of using the software include significantly quicker settlement times and a reduced risk of errors.

With a total of 180 members, the purchasing cooperative Euronics Austria is Austria’s most important network in electrical retail and trade. 210 owner-run specialist shops with an overall retail space of 65,000 m² are selling their products in the areas of consumer electronics, mobile communication, telecommunications, personal computing, multimedia and household electronics. Approximately 3,000 employees strive to continually offer the members of the cooperative the optimum solution for the best price-performance ratio. When it comes to entering the turnovers and turning them into the best purchasing conditions, Euronics Austria counts on IBB’s software solution BONSAI.

“Prior to implementing BONSAI, we used to process the data for the entry and settlement of our turnovers manually. This is why we were looking for a complete solution that would automate this process and do the work for us. In IBB’s BONSAI, we found the right solution”, says Andrea Ettl, responsible for claim settlement at Euronics Austria. Even if a company has a highly complex member structure and data situation, BONSAI can depict the turnovers and agreements in a clear and transparent manner and bring them together. As a result, a large number of different interfaces and process steps can be reduced. “With a single click of the mouse, we can generate several outputs with one entry and therefore save valuable time.and therefore save valuable time. In addition, IBB’s competent and extremely quick customer service turns our work with BONSAI into a real benefit for our organisation”, Ettl adds.

EASY TURNOVER MANAGEMENT AND CLEAR STATISTICS

Euronics Austria’s data is often changing very quickly. With the help of BONSAI, the organisation can automatically generate upto- date, clearly structured statistics to continually monitor the data situation in a traceable manner. “Thanks to the easy handling of the software we can recommend our members the ideal purchasing volumes at the best conditions. We are also looking into ways for further optimisations”, Ettl explains.

Based on many years of experience in working with businesses from the electrical retail industry, IBB knows that the coordination between trade associations and suppliers can often be very complex. “BONSAI processes all data in full compliance with legal requirements and revision-safety. Reactions to enquiries or audits can be made in a timely manner, and the data is therefore protected. BONSAI greatly enhances the traceability of claim settlements with suppliers and bonus distributions to cooperative members”, says Christian Zeidler, Managing Director at IBB.

The IBB team continually assists its customers in configuring the software and fine-tuning it according to the respective requirements. “IBB’s project team asked us some critical questions and gave us many tips on how we could design our work even more efficiently. Since our implementation of BONSAI in 2019, IBB has always supported us to our full satisfaction. Whenever we have a question, they react quickly and competently. Ultimately, we have gained a lot of time for other tasks, and the number of errors has been strongly reduced in comparison to manual data entry”, Ettl summarises the collaboration with IBB.
